This was our first visit. We are from the US and we like to search out a restaurant to eat at before leaving home and then heading though the tunnel! Last night our search found us Smoke Spice. We were very pleased. My son and me split the dinner for 2. He wasn't a fan of the ribs (he prefers baby back) but I thought they had a wonderful taste even without a sauce on them. I didn't feel the fried chicken went with the rest of the dinner. it was okay, but just your typical fried chicken to me. It just seems like it should have been another smoked meat like brisket. Hands down the best Mac n' Cheese Ever!!! Every time we come to Windsor, it is a tradition to come here for Mac n' Cheese Bowl, Fried Chicken, Wings and Ribs. Soooooooo good. I hope this place never changes cause it is the best. I'm even from Toronto where the food selection is amazing, and there is nothing like this place anywhere. We absolutely love it. We were there on Sunday night for the first time because it had been recommended by family and friends. We weren't disappointed. The food was excellent. Our food was ready quickly. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of food and the portion sizes. However the highlight of the evening was our amazing server Sarah. She was polite, pleasant and professional. She went that extra step to see that we had an exceptional experience. We will be back!
After reading the recent reviews, I was worried the quality of service had decreased. I'm happy to say that my group and I had a very enjoyable experience. The place was 60-70% full, and we didn't wait very long for our food. Our waiter, Logan was super nice and friendly. I'm glad that my experience was of the positive nature. Keep up the good work. (BTW: Food was the best I've had there. Nice portions and tasty)

Our server Sarah was great...all the service thee was awesome! The food was delicious and juicy as always, fries were crispy like we asked lol (important) haha we were there for a birthday and they brought out there delicious Bourbon Pecan Pie ..now that...was to die for! Over all 10/10 never disappointed with some good smoked meat! Ty for your great hospitality
My husband comes from a Southern family, so he was very skeptical about a Southern Barbecue restaurant in Windsor. After our first meal there, he was thrilled. This place is true Southern food. We are both huge fans of the ribs, which are the best that I have ever eaten. The corn bread, wings, pulled pork and collard greens are also delicious.
My daughter and I had the meatloaf, actually pretty bad, and hubby had a burger,which was average. The three of us always vote on new restaurants so I can post our star review and comments on it. Unfortunately Smoke & Spice didn't make the cut. We won't be returning.
BEST burger I have ever had. My wife and myself go out to eat every |Sunday to a different restaurant....in order to critique the atmosphere, food, as well as service. WOW! This place is, so far, in the top 3 of our picks as best. Cheers!

Had a bacon cheese burger at Smoke and Spice yesterday, I can say it's the best burger I've had in a long time. Fries and gravy were great too, as was the service!
