Smoke's Poutinerie

I have always been a fan of Smoke's I quite enjoyed their poutine in Halifax, Ottawa and Vancouver (before it closed). The Kelowna location was ok the gravy was really watery and the poutine was quite plain and tasteless. I had the 2x pork there was a decent amount of meat however there were only about 7 cheese curds in the whole thing, which was disappointing. I wouldn't go back to this location. I hope that Smoke's other restaurants still have quality poutine and gravy and that the recipe ingredient quality hasn't gone down across Canada.

I haven't been to this restaurant since it got new management. I decided to give it a try today. The fries were either very stale or the fryers are not being cleaned properly. I could only eat half of the poutine. When I walked in, it smelled like wet potatoes in a bad way. I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon. The only good thing was the gravy, and the popcorn chicken in my poutine was tasty. I have been to other locations in the past and have never been this disappointed.

I visited a poutinery for some fries because I was hungry and it was late. Unfortunately, the fries I received were leftover and too hard. I hope the gravy isn't watered down. I gave the fries to a homeless man who ended up throwing them out. This was my first time trying this place and I was disappointed. I hope this isn't the quality they will be offering on their cross country tour. I will not be returning.

I was disappointed with the portion size considering the price we paid of $50. The poutine was mostly fries which made it feel overpriced. It cost almost $20 each and had a similar amount of poutine as you would get at McDonald's for $6. The taste was average, somewhat dry, and lacking in cheese curds. I think I'll stick to making my own poutine in the future. Réservez une table maintenant

We ordered the Korean bbq because it was recommended. The server didn’t tell us it was a 9-10 spice. We asked for it to be fixed because we had no idea it was so spicy. He said the only thing he could do was offer us ketchup. Was a little disappointed for a $20 poutine

Great selection of poutines. Good size portion but I didn’t like the fries- they didn’t seem fresh they were not fresh cut. Service was fast. Would not return.Vegetarian options: I liked the vegetarian gravy option

Gravy was not what you would expect from a poutine place. Hot sauce siracha was watered down and oddly the vinegar was watered down. This is coming from multiple orders from people with different preferences.

It took nearly 30 minutes for my traditional poutine to arrive, with about 5 different orders being completed before mine. I think they may have forgotten about it.

Lots of choices of what to have, I didn't know you could fries topped with so many things! It is hot, tastes so good and is very filling! Very friendly staff!.
