I stumble upon this place, starving on my way from NY. I saw barbecue and said what the heck. I was thrown by the food in aluminum pans and grill in back, like I was at a family cookout. I had to wait a bit, like 15 minutes. Some people were picking up some big orders. Remember, I was starving, and this point committed. They packed my pull pork and 2 sides in 3 separated plastic containers along with a container of sauce. So, the presentation was not appealing. When I got to dig into my food, oh my. I ordered catering for a young adult party and picked it up myself, and everything was amazing! The only dish I wasn’t as fond of was the cabbage. However, the string beans, chicken wings, beef, and pork ribs were all outstanding. The food was hot and ready exactly when I asked. The man who helped me was friendly, courteous, and professional, even helping to load everything into my car. Everything was carefully packaged for transport.
I LOVE THIS SPOT. Been eating their food since b4 they even had a permanent location (over 20 sum years). They used to have 2 grills. 1 on the service road on 210 the other across the street from Eastover. Everything is good!!!! Good people, goodvibes, great attitudes most of all good food!!! I've never had an issue with anyone here except once she no longer worksthere. Stop by Friday, Saturday /or Sunday. U won't be disappointed.
I love this spot I've been going there since I was a Prince George's county school bus driver. The food is off the chain I love their barbecue baked beans, macaroni and cheese, collard greens and the ribs and barbecue chicken. I just wish they would dot-bone steaks on the grill and a little more sugar in the peach cobbler they would be good to go

Excuse the picture but everything was bomb. This location is a old stomping ground for me. It had been years since I moved out the area and hadn't had them. The cabbage was mid but theac and cheese was delicious and the potato salad was bomb. Ribs werefall of the bone. I'm definitely coming back.
Had a taste for bbq ribs, not some chain cooked ribs, but old school, home bbq ribs, found Smokeshack and my oh my, I could not have been more pleased! Best ribs I have had since moving to this area, reminds me of Mississippi!! The Mac cheese was amazingas well!!
Wow, those ribs were absolutely incredible—cooked to perfection. The sides tasted like they were made by someone’s grandma, full of homemade goodness. Everything was top-notch from start to finish. I’m definitely planning to return next weekend!
Very good. The chicken wings are crispy and juicy. The smoked chicken has so much depth. The ribs are a little dry but the rub they have on them stands out, even without the bbq sauce. Highly recommend it.

They had some of the best greens and that's why I went there. Sadly, they no longer sell them. The sweet potatoes are off the chain delicious but the cabbage was fair.
The ribs and mac and cheese are outstanding. I suggest placing your order in advance.
