Alrighty, I was there last week Thursday (6 October) I’m assuming it was around 19:30. Then I met Trent .. wow .. you are very rude, I suppose when you want to be. I was to stand at the side by that “wait to be seated” (or ordered what to do),basically in a corner, and order my food to go. In disbelief, and thinking you were joking, I didn’t take you serious. Well,you were! Yeah, no…! You and I went back and forth about that, then I had enough, said I’ll go sit at the bar to order myfood. Which added up to a little bit under $50. When I finally sat down, Matthew served me and was absolutely wonderful—patient and friendly, letting me take my time with the menu. However, Trent, you saw me trying to get your attention and even signaling that I wanted to be seated, but your reaction made me feel ignored.
I also noticed Trent being rather harsh with another staff member, which seemed inappropriate and made me question his attitude. Surprisingly, that employee appeared to defend him. As for the food, aside from the cornbread, nothing stood out as good or even edible. I was disappointed to learn they were out of the brisket I’d been eager to try, and my appetizer arrived incomplete.

Had lunch today and most of the food was good,but the service not so much. We ordered the smoked sausage which was really hard. Asked the server for the 1/4 chicken instead. Dark meat was brought out and we asked for white meat. We don't eat dark meat.The server told us that don't do white meat, and that's the only way it comes. We couldn't get it. I knew it was a lie, because a few weeks ago when we visited we got white meat. See the photo of the meal we had then. Breast and wing! I believe she didn't want to go back and get it right so just said we couldn't get it. We tried the Korean pig bell pops and the combo plate featuring baby back and St. Louis ribs. The pig pops were extraordinary, and the ribs were perfectly smoked, juicy, and full of flavor. We also enjoyed their homemade doughnuts, which were absolutely irresistible.
Our waitress was warm and attentive, even kindly offering us extra lemon water to take with us. The restrooms were clean as well. I really wish there were places like this in the California Bay Area. While we have some good BBQ spots there, none compare to what we experienced here, and they’d probably charge double for these portions! It was a wonderful treat before our flight back to California!

Arrived around 5:45 pm on Friday evening. Seated immediately. We were told they were understaffed. Greeted quickly by Garrett, our server. He was very attentive and provided outstanding service. The bacon, cheese fry appetizer came out HOT with a side of ranch and arrived in a timely manner. The bacon cheeseburger was ok, the bacon could have been crispier. The Mac and cheese with pulled pork was a generous helping and required a to-go box. Our drinks stayed filled. Excellent service, ok food.
The staff was limited and service was slow, though the food arrived quickly. The taste was excellent, but the portions were quite small for the price. They even put a piece of bread under the pulled pork to make it seem like there’s more than there actually is.
During a busy Sunday rush, I noticed two employees doing their utmost to manage the situation, while the manager was sitting down to eat during a meeting. It was disheartening to see one of the employees in tears; it just didn't feel right.
