Smokey B's Bbq Pit

I'm giving this place one star for the BBQ sauce. We ordered the smoked chicken sandwich with fries, and the young lady I was with, ordered the brisket with baked beans and fried okra. The smoked chicken sandwich was chopped, bland, and dry. So I soaked everything in the sauce. The fries were cold and soft. Seriously... how do you screw up French fries? The brisket was all fat and cold. Not even warm. I wanted to like this new place, but sadly I would never ever eat there again.

We try to eat here at least once a week and we've never had a bad experience. The shrimp are one of our faves. The shrimp are a good size, flavorful filling. All the sides we've eaten taste delicious! The cream style corn was extra good! A couple times we ate there on Friday again on Saturday. The whole staff has been friendly toward us. Oh, the BBQ meats are all tender extra delicious! Hope they stay for a long time! Happy Customers???

Finally got to stop in today and try smokeys out!! Its such a cute little place. I got mine to go this time! We got the fried shrimp and the ribs and they were awesome! For sides we got the okra, mac and cheese and the steamed potatoes...the okra was fantastic!! The potatoes were a little salty but the flavor was good! The portions were good and we were very happy!! We will definitely be going back!!

The man who runs it has been cooking for a long time and it shows. The food was AMAZING 100% would recommend. I also really like the vinegar base sauce option. 10/10 establishment

Fast friendly service. The food was hot and delicious. I?d appreciate them adding a vinegar based sauce. Clean and beautifully decorated building.
