Our server was Pinky and she did a great job serving 6 of us while also handling several other tables. I had what I think they called their signature **** Mary which had a skewer of pickled vegetables, shrimp and a slice of bacon. Very good. Then the fried fish basket which I think was grouper. 2 large pieces of fish that were juicy and not over cooked. The sauce that came with it was great. The fries were crisp and hot. The Cole slaw and twice baked potato salad were obviously house made, a long with almost everything else. The onion rings were not homemade but they were still good, made from sliced onions, not chopped and formed. Everyone else enjoyed their food also. Go and ask for Pinky!
Even though today was a bit windy and chilly for the season, we felt cozy and warm sitting outside at the downstairs bar, thanks to the portable heaters. We shared a generous plate of nachos, which came topped with all the usual fixings: lettuce, onions, and jalapeños on the side, along with your choice of ground beef or chicken. Our bartender, Pinky, provided excellent service and engaging conversation while efficiently serving patrons and keeping the bar neat and well-stocked. We dine out quite often, and it's always reassuring to know that we can count on finding a clean table or bar seat immediately, along with a cold drink served with a friendly smile.
would give 0 if i could, the alcoholic specialty drinks they advertise on the menu is really just 3oz orange juice with a drop of alcohol! not worth the $10 they charge, i even asked to make it stronger and was charged double to make it a double and still nothing! it took over an hour to get food which was not worth the wait or price, had to substitute french fries for something else because i have a fish allergy and they fry everything including fish in the SAME oil!! Tables were sticky and disgusting! What a shitty place to start vacation!!
My wife's grilled fish was excessively salty, and she stopped eating it halfway through. My fried fish tasted good, but it was heavily breaded. It’s disappointing to run out of items so early on a Friday night, especially with the whole weekend ahead, and they should have informed us when we placed our orders. For dessert, my wife ordered a slice of cheesecake, which cost $10 for just one piece. While desserts can be pricey, this seemed outrageous. We dined here for the first time last night and had a wonderful experience. Our server, Ralph, was outstanding. The fried crab claw appetizer was possibly the best in town, and the shrimp and fish basket combo was equally delicious. We will definitely return during our next visit. This place would also be great for lunch, especially because of the beautiful view. Make sure to sit outside on the patio by the marina!
