Sure, it could not be your favorite leg, and taste. That's personal. But, in Chicagoland, two simple facts make for great tasting smoked meat, and Smokin M's BBQ does both. 1. Pitmaster knows how to cook. Don't laugh. Good pies are not so easy to find. Smoking is more art than recipe, and in any case time to master. We have all experienced smokehouses in our area that can stay in business, while regularly sold out dry, over cooked smoked meat. 2. While on vacation, I craved smoked meat and noticed Smokin M's BBQ at the end of our block, so we decided to give it a try. The food was fantastic—generous portions, tender meat, and perfectly balanced flavors. The cornbread was the best I've ever had. The staff engaged warmly with us and our son, who loves spicy food. They made a game out of him trying their sauces, and it was entertaining to watch him react to the heat. He declared them all delicious. Overall, great food, great service, and a memorable experience. We left very satisfied and wish we could visit again!
I haven't been here since before covid. I am sure glad they made it through. I had the brisket sandwich, which is really excellent. I've done the ribs previously and they are an excellent choice but I wanted to leavecroom for pecan pie. I want tomention the French fries. They aren't just filler on your plate, they are a crispy treat, I think they're the best you'll get inthe area.
This place is truly outstanding. With 15 years of experience, they have skilled employees and expert pit masters. The smoky aroma is something you rarely find these days. When you walk up to the register, you can see the fire in the back, where the ribs are being cooked. The rib tips are amazing, and the fried chicken is delicious. The hotlinks are absolutely perfect. Well done!

This place is absolutely great. 15+ years in business with well trained staff and pit masters. As soon as you walk in you smell the smoke, where can you find that these days?As you approach the register you see the fire in the background cooking ribs.Rib tips are great as well as friend chicken.Hot links are the perfect match.Well done!
First meal here, desperately looking for meaty ribs, I got them. Only one data point but this place probably deserves to be rated higher. People with complaints about service/price have probably not yet adapted to The Times. I'm happy.
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We felt right at home. My son, who loves hot sauce, was introduced to what he claims is the best BBQ sauce he’s ever tasted.
The food was Delicious ?and the service was excellent not a long wait. Will be going back I had rib tips and a slab of ribs and chicken.
