This review comes months after my initial unpleasant experience at the Smoothie King in Laurel by Mission BBQ. I was denied a refund for smoothies I no longer wanted before the first ingredient was put in the blender. I reluctantly took the smoothies to avoid leaving empty handed and without my money. I left feedback and was contacted by the owner. It was explained that the employees don’t have the ability to provide refunds and since I left with the smoothies, technically I wasn’t entitled to a refund. Three stars because Love this place, but whoever was staffed TONIGHT.. they definitely needed some kind of supervision. There were only three people in line. Took 20 minutes to even get to the cash register. The guy in front of me was in line because of an online order that was not ready.. he waited at least another 15 minutes (no exaggeration). I ordered online, order said it would be about 10 minutes. I showed up nearly 10 minutes later than the pickup time and was told that the drinks hadn’t been made yet. No biggie, so I waited. My bf and I waited for 20 MINUTES while listening to her flirt with another customer and making the drinks as slowly as possible. Why does it take 45 minutes just to blend some fruit? I watched our smoothies sit in the blender for over 10 minutes while she gave the dude her number and started taking other customers orders. I was about to just get behind the counter and pour the drinks myself lmao beware of this location is if you have to be anywhere at a certain time.
I went to Smoothie King to get another PB Swizzle Bowl. The first few times the bowl was outstanding.The Bowl looked just like the picture. Well this time I should of known when the employee said that they hated making the bowls that it would be a problem. The presentation was terrible with very little fruit. They should make sure who every makes the bowls that they are willing to give ? percent.

A few weeks ago I lost my wallet. A good Samaritan took it into the store and Carter went above and beyond to find me and make arrangements for me to pick it up.A wonderful reminder about good people in this world, and Carter is one of them!
Saw that they do açaí bowls and it was absolutely delicious! Had a bad experience with the unprofessional young staff here that evening. Don’t go close to closing because they’ll let you know you’re unwelcome.
The service there was absolutely knee dropping; like the service was amazing. I would go there every week. Their smoothies are mouth-watering. You should really drink their smoothies on a daily ???

Given a straw too thin to keep its structure when pushed through the opening of the cup lid, making it virtually impossible to drink. I'm done with this place and so should you.
Love this location! The staff are super nice and the service is great. Consistent smoothies each time. Highly recommend!
