That said, I did experience the best smoothie I've ever had from this location this morning, between 9:30 and 10 AM. My reason for giving a three-star rating stems from a frustrating experience I had when I called the store to compliment them and ask who made my smoothie. They refused to disclose the name of the person who made it, claiming they didn't know. It’s quite baffling and doesn’t make much sense. Because of this, I can’t justify giving a five-star rating despite the delicious smoothie.
I was not pleased with my last few visits to the restaurant. My app wouldn’t scan, and trying to enter my cell number didn’t work either. This morning, on April 22nd, I ordered a chocolate leaner, but when it arrived, I was surprised that the girl didn’t know what a chocolate leaner was. When I clarified, she said she recognized it. I visit this place every day, so I mentioned that they should have chocolate available, but was told they were out. I thanked her and left disappointed.
Wait time was very long in drive thru (late afternoon). When got to window, was told they were training someone and they apologized for the wait. I only ordered a kids size and a small smoothie. Waited the longest for the kids smoothie. Seemed a little long even with training. Maybe unseen issues? Don't know, but this location seems to always be slow in drive thru. I'm hesitant to go there bc of the long wait in drive thru.
We first tried to use the drive-thru, but no one responded, so we went inside to see what was happening. To our surprise, we found the staff playing on their phones instead of attending to the drive-thru. When we entered the restaurant, we noticed that they prioritized serving the drive-thru customers, even though we had been waiting longer. It was the worst service I've ever experienced! Whether you go through the Drive-Thru or visit this Smoothie King location is ALWAYS an experience. Usually it is the highlight of my Friday morning. My smoothies ALWAYS taste great! But the staff will deal with this SK. They are consistently efficient, friendly and friendly. To the owner if you? Read this... please, give them their flowers?
I go to smoothie king twice a month as my only treat to myself when I get paid. I always get a peanut power plus with no banana and extra PB. This location made it BY FAR the worst, absolutely disgusting and full of chunks of protein. Thank God I work at a restaurant and could blend it when I arrived. Dont order chocolate from this location.
Taste was fine. ...extent if my good review. Waited 20 min to get to window after placing order, window opens and I'm asked what my order was again. Swiped my card, another 6 minutes before I get my half melted smoothie, cup covered in red syrup which then ruins my shirt. Worst smoothie king experience I've had.
