This was my second visit and it was just as delicious as I remembered! My husband and I are both craft beer fans and we came armed with a growler to fill this time. Our one disappointment was that apparently there were no ribs available until about an hour after we ordered. I realize that ribs are a time-consuming and delicate task, but they're my absolute favorite BBQ food and I was really surprised that we ordered at 12 noon and apparently ribs weren't available until closer to 1p
We went for Valentine's Day celebration at lunch time. Quiet during my experience. Welcoming hostess, and waiter-Adam G. (knowledgeable and attentive) Menu has good selections. Chicken was ok. But, loved the beef brisket sandwich on brioche. The mac and cheese was a pleasant surprise. Ordered it for tasting. Like the ambiance. Sat by the fireplace, really enjoyed seating. Plan to return.
Food was ok. Our waiter seemed way too busy to do a good job. Half our order never made it to the table until we complained twice. Coffee/water never refilled. Brought take a away boxes without a bag... had to ask. The entire experience was meh. We expected something to be “comped” since half our food arrived as we were finishing. Didn’t happen. Not cool
Third time there. Enjoyed both dark beers. Very good barbecue but not at the same level as Smoque in the city. Great spoon bread, very good pulled pork, tasty but fatty brisket, decent ribs. The best bbq in the north suburbs. Réservez une table maintenant
We came in on a Saturday afternoon, excited to try some beer from a local brewery, and to spend our time sampling dishes and trying different brews.
Smylie Brothers is fantastic for dining or just having a pint of beer. Great staff, great food, and great beer.
This place makes me smylie ! A huge improvement over the napa auto parts or oil changery that was here before.

Decent burger, good fries. I like the 5oz beer. I had the French Zut and it was very good.
