Given all the great reviews posted, we were a bit disappointed with the food served. No it wasn't bad or distasteful, just not really good either. We both had the carpaccio as a starter and the Coquille as a main dish. The starters were OK. The cheese ice-cream a nice surprising addition. This made the dish standout favorably. The main was a true deception. The safran sauce tasted anything but safran. More of a butter sauce. The red bell pepper was minimal. The coquille was difficult to taste as it was covered in the sauce. The wine recommended was nice but they couldn't make a decent glass available to serve it in, even when asked for. Service was very friendly, but more as expected in a pub than a restaurant The place appears confusing to us. Very nice location, good menu, not more than average food and Ok service. And all this at full pricing. We will not be visiting again.

Only dropped in for 2 course lunch after the gorgeous views and visit to the Sartène archaeological musée. Spectacular views from the musée and the restaurant. Service was very attentive, friendly and wonderful throughout the meal. Both the local Policier and Gendarmerie teams had lunch at this restaurant so must be great!!! :0) The rosé 1/2 bottle was yummy and my smoked salmon appetizer was yummy with perfect touches of sea salt. The fish entrée wasn't that tasty, but I probably ordered the wrong thing. I would still return for the gorgeous views, wine and try different menu items next time. VERY friendly and attentive family owned business. LOVED the atmosphere here!!! :0)

We were looking forward for eating at this restaurant. However we found the duck as dry as rubber, the lights were eye blinding and the service was unkind. Furthermore the price was much higher than aspected, 30 euro for a main course. Really bad price quality ratio. Oh, and instead of bottled water they gave us a bottle with tap water..

It’s a surprise to find a nice restaurant in a hotel. This one can make your day (or night) in the beautiful town of Sartène. The menu offers an elegant variation of seafood and local meats and a nice wine list. Excellent service!

Nice Place with terrace with the best view. The waiter was very kind and the food absolutely amazing. I tried a typical cheese with honey and hazelnuts as a starter and the duck breast as the main dish. Highly recommended
