Sol Grill - Réserver une table

We stopped here for a bite to eat before heading to a concert and LOVED it! Dinner started with them bringing out a bread basket with an oil/balsamic vinegar dipping sauce. I know that it doesn't sound like much, but they make their own bread and we couldn't stop eating it! Next we ordered the filet mignon meatballs as an appetizer and loved them so much that we ended up buying two more orders to go (pretty big deal since we had to drive 4 hours back to Las Vegas with them). We ordered the lobster ravioli and the chicken artichoke dijon chicken as our main course and they were both delicious. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend this restaurant to others.

Excellent! Sol Grill had the perfect balance of surf (fresh seafood) and turf (Chicken, Beef) My Swordfish was cooked to perfection, (blackened yet very moist and tender). My wife had the Chicken Picatta which had a very tasty caper sauce with a hint of lemon. Both my daughters loved their meals as well! One had very tangy and tasty spareribs. The other chose a bowl of Ahi Chowder. She says it was the best ever! Wine by the glass was reasonably priced as well. Very pleasing interior; small and cozy with a 6 seat bar. Wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable! Perfect evening! Thank you, Sol Grill!

Sol was as awesome as always. We adore the funky decor and the cozy atmosphere in contrast to the typically beachy restaurants nearby. It is definitely a little gem--as is its owner. We discovered Sol several years ago and since then haven't missed dining here at least once during each of our annual Newport beach vacations. We'll be so sad when they have to move after next year.

Showed up 10-minutes before our reservation, were told it would be 5-minutes, then we were told they overbooked and it would be over an hour. Very rude, never suggested a comp drink or anything. We left.

Great find! We were visiting our friends in NB. They took us out for our Birthdays. We will go back. They were excited to know about it now. I found it on Yelp.
