Somers Pizza And Family

We've driven by here a few times and always cars in lot or waiting for pickup. Tonight we decided to give it a try since the reviews were pretty good. Started off with two salads. Vegetables were good although tomatoes were standard restaurant fare. Nothing special. Dressings were very good not sure if homemade but very good. My wife ordered Angel hair pasta with garlic and oil. It was very good. Not overdone on the garlic but just right. My wife is pretty fussy about her pasta and garlic so if she liked it they must have done it right. I had chicken Parm and I have to say I'm picky when it comes to this dish. The food here is so good I had to call my Italian mother to double check she didn’t get a job working here. All jokes aside though this is a gem of a restarant and beyond the incredible homemade food is fantastic service. In a first for me the delivery we got was packaged with extreme care and cardboard separated each meal and the side salads we got. This was extremely smart because it kept each meal warm independently while also helping to keep the salads cold genius! during a road trip in the somers family restaurant stopped for lunch. the it area was clean, welcoming and spacious. the menu is a traditional family menu with the standard lunchtime fare, but in some cases with a twist. Example: I had a truthahnmelt, but was pleasantly surprised to see that they take the time to add some carmelized tweezers with tasty cheddar cheese on roasted sourdough bread. the wobbles made the sandwich pop. I came here with a large group. They were very accommodating and efficient. Food came out in a very reasonable time. I enjoyed a ham calzone. All the other food that was ordered at my table also looked amazing. The waitress was friendly and the owner came out to introduce herself. Take out seemed to be quite busy as well. We ordered pizza from here while looking for a new favorite since our regular spot closed. We’ve tried a lot of places in the area, and this has quickly become our new favorite! We order delivery from here often now. The grinders are fantastic. If clam chowder is the soup of the day, I highly recommend trying it! I love that everything tastes fresh and homemade.

The pizza was decent for the price, and the wings were excellent. However, our pizza had a bit too much cheese—can you believe it? The extra cheese overwhelmed the flavor of the pepperoni. It's a pan pizza with a thicker crust. On a positive note, the customer service from the ladies was outstanding. I wish them all the best for their new restaurant!

We finally gave Somers Pizza a try, and now it's our go-to option for nights when I don't feel like cooking! So far, we've enjoyed their delicious pizzas, hamburgers, pastas, and salads. I recently tried the roasted mozzarella, and it was absolutely delicious! Plus, the customer service over the phone and the delivery service have been excellent!

Ordered a pizza from there the other night. I don't know what it was, but it was not pizza. If you're a Barstool/Portnoy kind of pizza fan, try somewhere else. I couldn't stomach it and threw it away. Wings weren't that good either. Friendly staff and the inside was nice...other dishes might be good but probably won't go back to try them. Good food and pizza. All around Inhavent had a bad dish from them. Delivery was pretty quick too. I order from here every Friday night now. For the price you can’t beat it. And the manager is very friendly.
