Sophia Italian Bistro

Went with a party of 12 for a special occasion. We asked if there was a fixed menu to help with the cost. They said sure, we got a small portion of pasta, a small salad and a choice of chicken francese, a short rib, salmon, or veal parm. The food was ok and then the check arrived. They charged us over $85.00/pp!!! Our bill came out to $1500.00 with drinks and tips. I was taken back, seeing as we could have had steak and lobster, and it would have been cheaper. I ordered the Chicken Parm for take out ..It wasn't good but awesome . Definitely Organic Chicken that melts in your mouth tender and delicious. Since I owned a restaurant I know great food.. Former Owner of Luca Bella White Plains.. What was impressive was the customer service.. I had a question about preparation and the owner came out his name is (RICO) and answered all my questions.. He was so gracious and accommodating I decided to reorder for the next day and had 2 days of the Chicken Parm... It's a nicely appointed a little outdated place with white cloth service with a great mature crowd. Delicious food and reservations are easy! Great steak meals! Outside was lovely last year so hopefully they open the tent again this year!
