We attended the Italian wine dinner at Sorrento. $180 pp includes tax and tip Sorrento has been one of our favorite special occasion restaurants for many years. Overall, the wine dinner was excellent food as always was excellent and the service was lovely. My only suggestions for future wine dinners is skip the reception in the front of the restaurant. It was cramped and way too crowded and most of us could not get any appetizers. a very nice waiter did bring us a plate of appetizers which was really sweet but we had to flag him down. There’s just not enough room in the entrance of the restaurant to do a proper reception. Maybe you could do the reception in one of the rooms or just go ahead...
Our second visit to Sorrento for a multi-course wine dinner was just as enjoyable as our first. We drove from The Woodlands, drawn in by the reasonable price of the event compared to other wine dinners. The inclusion of tax and gratuity in the price was a nice touch. The evening started with a sparkling wine and three appetizers at the bar before we were seated. The service was outstanding, with our needs anticipated before we even had to ask. The courses, ranging from fresh shrimp salad to pasta to a delicious filet mignon with mushroom Demi glaze, were generous and well-paced. We met friends to celebrate a birthday. Two of us ordered the off menu item of snapper with crab meat. The fish was perfectly cooked and tasted wonderful! My wife ordered fettuccini Alfredo which she thoroughly enjoyed. Our meal was accompanied by piano music which always makes the evening more enjoyable. You can count on Sorrento's for consistent high quality food at reasonable prices. Service was top notch.
I don’t know why they put us at the worst table in the place and we asked to be moved and the owner/manager said they were no more tables even though there was like 4 open tables. Finally he agreed to move us. The food is not great. Service was really good. They had live piano which was nice. But I won’t be going back.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary there and absolutely loved everything about this wonderful restaurant! From the moment we gave our keys to the valet at the door we felt welcome. The service, drinks food and ambience was superb. We will definitely be back
Private room was provided. Service came at the appropriate pace for the occasion. Food and drink were delicious. No complaints. Highly recommended
Lobster raviolis were excellent. The osso buco raviolis were ok. We missed the piano player but the ambience was great.
Always consistent romantic and lovely. Just a quick bite, sea bass was delicious. Wine prices are very fair
