She checked on me without hovering and removed my dishes promptly, always calling me by my name (not something I care about, to be honest, but I found it made her seem even friendlier). What a disappointment. The food was bad — the jerk chicken tasted like the bottom of a burnt pan. Service was miserable. We had to ask for our drinks after 10 minutes or so as the server had clearly forgotten about them while making drinks for their friends at the bar. The other server seemed irritated we had even entered the restaurant. Tacos came without napkins. I had to hunt them down so we could eat. This place is huge and amazing and like a party when you walk in.. it's a complete VIBE. There is lots of space. I tried the catfish, oxtail and sweet potato and black eye peas taco. The pickled onions were a bit much on the catfish taco but the catfish had a great taste but making it a 3 out of 5. If you 're like us, tacos are an all year round experience. But during the summer months tacos are a few times a week . This place has great energy, delicious food, friendly staff and the Happier Meal . Come for the tacos, have a drink and get a random toy to celebrate your adulthood like you once did as a kid. Highly recommended. We could only stay away for one week before making the trip back!

I went to Soul Taco on a whim because it was close to my hotel downtown. I ended up ordering a delicious mojito from the bar while I waited on my tacos. I ordered the fried catfish taco, the buttermilk chicken taco and the oxtail taco all 3 were amazing! So much flavor and very reasonably priced. I?ll definitely stop by again before I leave town.
Oh Lawwwwd! These are my favorite tacos! This place is cute! The staff is super friendly and funny. It didn?t take us long to come back. We got the Happier Meals and now we're happier. I also had the sangria and they didn't hold out on the alcohol which was a plus!
Since the first time I went to soul taco about a month ago Ive been back at least once or twice a week, it?s great! The server, Josh the cook, Kai are super nice too. Definitely get the shrimp or jerk chicken tacos when you go :
I sat at the bar and was made to feel so welcome by the bartender Connor. He made a fantastic margarita and the vegan taco I had was very good, shout out the Eric the chef I was told who made it. Overall had a great experience!

Walked in and sat down for 10 minutes and no one ever came to greet me or taken order. The bartender was just running his mouth to a customer. The waiter was sitting at the end of the bar and also did nothing. Do better.
Took my girlfriend here. it was amazing and lives up to its name. i honestly did get slightly emotionally eating because it tasted so good.
