Ordered: New Orleans Okra Gumbo, Sizzlin’ Skillet Mac N Cheeze, Crispy Seitan and Waffles, OG Southern Fried Tofu, Southern Fried Tofu. The venue had good seating and music playing. We ordered for pickup and it was ready to go when we arrived. Every dish was delicious, the New Orleans Okra Gumbo had nice flavor and a small bite of spice. We had their calamari, pesto Mac, and chicken and waffles. The food was amazing, hands down some of my favorite Mac and cheese I've ever had as a vegan. That being said the service was pretty mediocre. They forgot out utensils so I couldn't eat my mac and cheese. Then my mum's chicken and waffles never came, so we ended up sharing. They finally brought it out and apologized which was nice. Overall I highly recommend their food, just maybe door dash instead?
we have tried a few soul food places on our trip and this is the best safe. the service was not great, but to be fair, they are set for each position and need significantly more personal, so I think it would be much better if they rent. cornbread was excellent. mac n cheese came cold and was spicy, so no fav for me. the kartoffels were good as the fried tofu. we also have chocolate and red velvet. icing was delicious, cake was a bit dry, but still good.

everything was sensational! this is my new favorite place. I have the not gator poe young with fries, greens and mac and cheese and it was so good I forgot to make a picture. I also got the strawberry ginger drink, but I forgot to make a picture. the cake and the lemon cake were on the spot. the owner was there and she was super nice and so was the rest of the staff. I'll tell everyone I know it didn't already know to go here. Thank you!
I’ve been using this app for a few years now. But, I created an account just for this review because of how good the food was. The pictures and location doesn’t do justice for the insane quality you can find at this restaurant. The reason I use this app is to find hidden vegan spots and this restaurant exemplifies that. Can’t wait to find an excuse to come back, hopefully sooner than later.
This is the first vegan restaurant I ever went to in California and I still keep coming back many years later. I love their chicken and waffles for breakfast/brunch and the southern fried tofu burger for lunch or dinner. Their garlic fries are my favorite fries ever! So flavorful
best vegan brunch that I had in the usa so far. the waffles were perfect, but the sausage was really the best. the staff was friendly and the place is cozy. highly recommended
