Soup Sausage Bistro

My dining room partner is part of Polish and I was hoping we could find food like his mother and grandmother used to make. He is very shy on compliments, but ate every drop of soup, each drop of perogie smoothed in bacon / onions / cream and a little of my pork with cherry sauce and baby potatoes sample! He agrees we should come back and try some more dishes. I think he was very happy. He claimed he never tried Borschtsch soup before, but I had (on a few trips to Russia and Estonia) and the spoon I tried was really good! This is a family restaurant with some stands and tables. They order at the counter, but they served us at our table. The curtains were quite decorative and reminded me of some of the colorful shirts worn in Eastern European countries. All in all, this was a really charming experience. On a hot and humid summer day in Phoenix it was nice that someone else cook this kind of kitchen instead of cooking soup for hours at home!

I and the woman have just left this wonderful place our second visit (my wife is a hard sale and she let me bring her back). The food is amazing and full of fresh domestic boiled aromas. The portions are perfect. The atmosphere is perfect for you to come and have a bite. The Borscht is absolutely delicious and not even you get me on the Hunters Stew Tender meat with potatoes and some vegetables in a broth that bleed my taste buds to another level. We'll be here regularly. (Now the woman is on the phone who calls all her sisters and tells them about it LOL)

We just discovered this place. Absolutely amazing. I needed comfort food, and this more than fit the bill. The hunters stew is delicious, the pierogies are fluffy and tasty. we tried a couple different soups. I can’t say enough about how good this food was!! We will be visiting often!

Ukrainian food like Grandma. Good selection of traditional foods such as Pierogies, Potato pancakes, Sauerkraut and Borscht. As a vegetarian, I ate the marinated cabbage. Huge bowl. You have other vegetarian options such as brewed vegetables and salads.

Absolutely amazing food! The staff is friendly and helpful. My favorites were the cabbage ball, dumplings and smoked sausage, but it was all great. Can't wait to go back.
