My wife and I went to South Moon BBQ for lunch. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich (On a bun). I had The Steve sandwich. Mine was a multi-meat sandwich on a bun. We had an appetizer of pig skins, and sides of potato salad and Mac and cheese. Ipreviously noted that our sandwiches had buns, because I 'm really not sure why buns were included with our meat. Both of oursandwiches had so much meat that eating our meals as sandwiches was almost humanly impossible, unless, of course, we wereprepared to make a giant mess on our hands, faces, and all over the table. Amazing! From the beginning! The women who answered the phone with commands had a welcoming voice and knowledge about menu. She made us welcome. It was 2021 Super Bowl. We order special buckets of chicken wings there. Great! We also order Burnt Ende there. Amazing!!! Very meaty a delicious!!! They gave us many extra sauces as we like a variety. Also large pieces of burned ends. Yummy. We'll be back. Recap friendly service and food was amazing.
I had a lot of BBQ in my time from many places in the USA, we were random in the area and we were hungry for lunch. The food was right at the point from taste to price. The service, they did the best they could. We were here on a Sunday afternoon, where they had only 2 servers for a crowded house. For a small town BBQ joint, its big! You also have a great beer selection, even with the long wait I would recommend to go back!
I have been a loyal patron of South Moon for years, although I have visited less frequently since they closed their Montgomery location. One of my favorite dishes is the Chuck Norris sandwich, which is packed with various meats. The ribs at South Moon are also outstanding. Casual BBQ restaurant with a retro 70's 80's style. The brisket is delicious and cooked quickly, with no issues. I also recommend trying their sandwiches! The staff are friendly and responsive. The host at the Hinckley location is fantastic and great to chat with. If you're into wrestling, ask him about it. Overall, great experience!
This is the feed of Norris! It is not a plate of food it is a sandwich that is easily deconstructed to be able to eat it! Delicious in every way. Get in early because you'll get there later, the more likely they are from bbq. We had great service outside. I'm back.
