We came to dinner on a Friday night. When we arrived not much was going on, we had a table reserved and quickly got the menus and were asked for drinks. These came to the place very quickly and we could order the food. However, this reads to wait. Too long and after several questions came the appetizer and the main courses shortly afterwards. The Hush Puppies was only finished, without further taste. The ribs were tough and fad, the chicken was great and the brisket was very delicious. Until we were able to pay round, too much time passed, meanwhile the store was full and the owner and his employee were absolutely overwhelmed. So everything took too long!
Like some reviews I had read before dining here, we found the food good but not exceptional. The menu and style of cuisine is what makes this place different. The service was fast and super friendly, the potato skins with pulled pork were delicious. The mac cheese could've had more flavour, more cheesiness, and the hot chicken was delicious, hot and crispy if not balanced in texture. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and evening there, the atmosphere is relaxed, the host was chatty and welcoming
I highly recommend a trip here. We went at on a Sunday morning for breakfast, we'd been expecting it to be busy given the quality reviews but it was pleasantly quiet with a couple of tables in addition to ours spread throughout. Windows open onto the sound of the leafy street, nice music playing, bottomless coffee and seriously great food. Generous portions of it too
Eating was in order, but not exceeding. had promised us more. brisket was out, we had hush puppies and rippchen, which were unfortunately very dry, and fried chicken and waffeln. it was saturating and tasteful okay. the chicken was juicy. the owner service was attentive. but obviously we are working here occasionally by the tax, we have not got any correct bill
AMAZING experience. We had Chicken Waffle, Hot Chicken and a side of Mac Cheese and everything was absolutely delicious. The owner was a delight. He was super friendly, helpful with the menu and attentive to his guests. We loved the paintings of the Smoky Mountains on the walls and the country music playing overhead and we're already looking forward to round
Despite Fassbier, no cyclist is given out because the boss doesn't want this?! There was no reason for this. So order a light from the barrel to find out more 5 minutes later that the beer is all. Eating takes forever and without words you put the bill on the table to express that guests should go now. Conclusion. Absolutely no customer orientation!
