Amazing food had salmon benny me and mon. Uncle had Rancheros and 2 aunts had wrap and breaksfast they all loved it and amazing server she was so nice couldn't remember her name but she was tall one very calm and nice person. Place has Awesome chill vibes buy try place. But be careful from a Lady who keeps yelling keep the door closed as it will get cold inside either she wasn't having a great day or the owner is being cheap who can't afford to buy an or extra heaters for the place because the winter didn't even start yet. This is a place really capitalizing on the fact that its a diner in Whistler. The food is nothing special, and the service isnt anything worth mentioning either. But paying about $80-$100 for two meals and some mimosas, I was expecting higher quality.I think Whistler has a lot of tourist trap type restaurants. This is one of them.Also, I had my server spill my drink, and didnt offer to get me a new one. She just wiped it up and went about her business.

The staff laughed at us when we advised them their blueberry in the stuffed waffle may have gone bad.They didn’t want to remake the dish or even check their blueberries to see if they were still good, and instead laughed at us behind our backs from the kitchen.The food wasn’t that great as the reviews seem to indicate- I’m not sure if the other reviewers had ever eaten actual breakfast food before, but this ain’t it chief.

We ordered 2 fresh apple juice and they brought us juice from the box, we wanted to cancel but The server insisted no its fresh juice. Finally the manager came and and talked to us very rudely, “he said what do you think the fresh juice comes from? Did you ever have a fresh juice “ we did not find it safe fir people of color if you are better not go…. We could clearly see their behavior with us and people around us. Family of 5, food was average, nothing to write home about. Service was fine, not rude as others complain about. Parking was convenient. I had the smoked salmon poached egg dish and felt quite ill later. Everyone else was fine after their dishes so my guess is that it was the fish as I have ruled out other potential variables on the “input” side of the food equation today. I will not be returning.

We had heard good things but ultimately were disappointed. Server was friendly but food was cold and unfortunately it was for the highest price point item on the menu. Both meals ordered were overpriced for the quality received. We won’t be returning a second time.

Food was Really good.The server seemed to be more interested in chatting to the other staff than engaging. We seemed to be a hindrance more than a customer.Maybe if your not a local you don't get a the same level of service.

Southside Diner is always a great experience. There is often a little bit of a wait but the line moves quickly and it's worth it. The servers are friendly, fast and efficient and the food is always amazing. Réservez une table maintenant

Always a must on any trip to Whistler. Great spot for breakfast. Generous portions, very tasty. Have been coming here for years, and will continue to do so until they, or I, shut down! ?

Went at 10am for breakfast and there was no wait and was seated right away.
