Spaghetti House - Réservation de table

Every time we go to South Bank this place is packed so we thought we would give it a go. We got a table quickly however it did take a while for them to ask for our order... the food and drinks took a while to come out. Bruschetta with prosciutto wasn't anything to write home about. 2 tiny slivers of capsicum on top of some prosciutto and ciabatta. Not really worth $14 odd dollars for 3 pieces. Pastas were average. Partner got lamb ragu pappardelle however the pasta was not all cooked through so some was stuck in chunks. I had the bolognese which was advertised as a beef & pork ragu but was just mince (I can cook at home with more flavour). Not really sure why this place is always busy. O...

We took a short walk across the bridge to south bank to little Stanley street where we found the spaghetti house. Given a table outside on a warm August night. The waitress took our drinks order she was a lovely young girl. Our Italian waitress came to take our food order. The place was very very busy and we did have to wait for a while. We enjoyed the vibe of the area.My husband took mushroom and pesto tortellini with a fantastic cream sauce. I had lobster gnocchi with tomato and cream sauce. The gnocchi was smooth and melt in the mouth. We were recommended by a sales assistant ( Italian) in a clothing shop to go to The Spaghetti House for dinner. So pleased we followed her advise.

Went to GOMA for a visit with my partner.It was our last afternoon in Brissie, just came up for a weekend getaway.After much browsing, we settled on the Spaghetti house for lunch.Both had the Moreton Bay bug Linguini. It was absolutely sensational, pasta cooked to perfection, generous amounts of bug meat spectacularly served in their shells atop the pasta which was a lovely Italian sugo/garlic/wine/chilli sauce.The Bruscetta was a great starter also, and the service attentive and professional.Great place for a quality carb hit! Busy and the location is fairly packed with every type of commercial cuisine and fast food, but if you like good pasta...give it a go!!

We came here with a group of friends for a Saturday lunch. The cappuccino Martini was pretty amazing but we were otherwise let down with how watery the tomato based pastas were. The ragù sauce was tasty but not good enough to make us want more. The piccolo sized dishes were pretty huge, which was surprising. Although the staff were lovely, we had higher standards and wouldn't come back for food. Réservez une table maintenant

I have eaten here 3 times and each time the food has been amazing, the cocktails excellent and the staff have been attentive, friendly and accommodating. My favourite dish is the mushroom tortellini - divine! The pasta is always so fresh and the serving sizes are generous. This is our go-to place for hearty Italian pasta.

We waited almost 2 hours for our food with no explanation which was pretty inconvenient. I also got the wrong meal given to me. We were offered a free beverage and a plate of bread as compensation but that was all. I will not be back

The worst mushroom risotto that was over priced and tasted no where on par. I had one bite then had to go to fast food option as I couldn't eat it. Réservez une table maintenant

I don't live locally but I've been staying in the South Bank area all week and this was the best meal I've had for dinner so far (5 nights).
