after a bit on the moselsteig we used the opportunity to visit Bernkastel-Kues. At the same time, a vegan petty would be nice, we thought and returned in the caffe spatz that we had met here in advance. finally drink a vegan milk coffee and tee. the burger, next to the salt unfortunately (still) the only vegan food on the map, was very delicious and is absolutely recommended. a crisp homemade multi-grain beer, covered with a chalk roast, leaf salad, tomate, inlaid gurk discs and thin paprika rings, gives a very good vegan burger. the sweet-sharp sauce was particularly good. a great challenge is the consumption of the burger. with knife and fork it does not work so well, but since the burgerb...
Cafe Spatz offers an interesting vegan burger made of some kind of fried grain. I liked the burger quite a lot and would for sure order it again. The staff is friendly and the location (well, the whole town in general) is beautiful and relaxed. As another big plus they have iced coffee during the summer season (not the eiskaffee that is so popular in germany).

one vegan option: Burger with fries. You can choose beteten french fries, Sweet potato fries or wedges they only have sweet and sour sauce or ketchup for the fries. it’s the only vegan option in the city i would love to see more vegan dishes, because the burger taste fantastic! at our last visit to bernkastel kues we were in cafè spatz. there was a vegan hamburger, a vegan pumpkin soup and a vegan salad. the selection is small, only what there is really delicious and recommended. at our next visit to bernkastel kues we go back to cafè spatz
