I visited The Spice Club for the first time tonight, and I was absolutely blown away! After experiencing a string of mediocre and disappointing curries at other local places, this was such a delightful surprise. I'm really glad we decided to try somewhere new. Both my husband’s and my curries were fantastic! Unlike other local options, you could truly taste the spices here — I'd even go as far as to say it's one of the best curries I've had outside of Asia. The entire process, from ordering to delivery, was excellent. The gentleman who took our order was friendly, cheerful, and polite, as was the delivery driver. Absolutely awful! Waited 45 minutes after the time our food should have been delivered for them to deliver the wrong meal! Phoned them up and they tried to blame me for their mistake. Food was horrible and threw most of it away, naan bread was rock hard, lamb was chewy and onion bhaji’s were soggy. Wouldn’t recommend EVER!!! Waste of money
I ordered takeaway and was pleased with the early delivery—no complaints at all. The food was delicious, and the delivery driver was mindful of Covid safety measures. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely order again. The only confusing part was the 50p service charge for delivery.
