Found this spot on google as I was looking for some good African food. To my surprise when I walked in. I didn’t see anyone preparing the food that looked to be African, BUT let me tell u. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed my meal so much that I’m still here as I’m doing this review. The place is clean and customer service was a hit! Keyla (may not be spelled correctly) but she was very kind and patient. I also asked for napkins to clean a table and she did not hesitate to come over and clean it. My food wasn’t really HOT but Keyla made sure to take care of me and send me off as a happy customer. GO VISIT THIS PLACE!!!
Spice Kitchen is one of my favorite spots in the area. The food, particularly their wings, are some of the best around. However, something needs to be done regarding time/speed. I placed an order at 11:30am for 12:30pm pickup and didn’t leave the restaurant until around 1pm. This has consistently been my experience when ordering. There were numerous other customers waiting for some time as well. I truly hope this is an issue that is corrected ASAP!
Love this place! I discovered this place when they had a pop up shop at R House in Baltimore now whenever I’m in the area I go. I love everything on the menu, specifically the lamb chops. Beef suya is sooooo good!! Got a large platter and this can definitely feed a family of 4/5. Very easy to order. Place is quiet and service was expedient. I was recommended this place and the atmosphere was awesome and service nice and helpful as this was the first time to order. This is a main spot now when I come into town. I grew up in Lagos, Nigeria .And I have to say this is the best CONSISTENT jollof rice you can get in the DMV.My only complaint is sometimes they run out of jollof rice because of how good it is. And they don’t have a DC location, everyone needs to try spice kitchen!!!!! Service: Delivery Meal type: Lunch
The food is very very delicious. Nothing lacked flavor nor was it overly flavored. 11/10 one of the best Nigerian food in dmv and this is coming from a Ghanaian . The Customer service is very accommodating and made sure I was getting my money’s worth. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
I’ve had spice kitchen at least 5 times, including when they were at Mixt food hall. They never disappoint. I normally get the wings and shrimp and steak suya with double jollof rice. The portions are good and worth the price. Sometimes they can be slow but it’s worth the wait. Food: 5
