One highlight is that Spice Theory is BYO, allowing us to easily bring our favorite wine. The food is presented on heavy stoneware plates, adding a nice touch to the dining experience. The quality of the Indian dishes is impressive. Kalaish served us a delightful array of appetizers, including Pappadums accompanied by mint sauce, cucumber raita, mango chutney, and tomato chutney—a wonderful assortment of dips to sample. The starters were outstanding, particularly the “Dani Poori Chaat,” a light and crispy puffed bread served chilled with mild spices. The menu boasts a diverse selection of dishes. We started with appetizers of seekh kebabs and two different types of dosas, all of which were fantastic. A standout was the lentil broth that accompanied the dosas. For our main courses, we shared butter chicken, goat curry (I’ll update the review with the exact name soon), and malai kofta. We also enjoyed some delicious naan bread. The first two dishes were particularly impressive, bursting with remarkable flavors. While we felt it was a bit unfair to charge extra for rice, we were overall very satisfied and will definitely return. Ate with a party of 6 on a busy Friday night, service was seamless and efficient. The waitresses took time to advise us on chefs recommendations and we had a constant flow of food being delivered. The quality of the food was stellar and portion sizes were perfect. The ambience is really well thought out too, you could have a family dinner, birthday party or a romantic date in the same room and all parties would feel comfortable. Highly recommend, this is definetely going to become a local gem.

The best Indian restaurant in Sydney . Service and ambiance was fab! And the food was awesome. Very kind and responsive staff members. I've been here a few times with my friends.Butter Chicken is always a firm favourite With naan breads. Service is excellent. Looking forward to visit there with my family friends again. Visited Spice Theory with 3 friends and a baby for the first time and it was a nice find for Indian in our local area. The food was delicious and well presented. Great naan bread and portion sizes for the entrees and curries. Hosts were attentive and very friendly. Would recommend for a group and family meal.

The food here is excellent—flavorful and well-prepared. While it’s not the cheapest option, I believe the quality makes it worth the price. I would love to see some signature dessert choices that match the level of the main dishes. Overall, a fantastic experience!

We finally tried this Indian restaurant up the road. We will definitely be back. Beautiful, tender and tasty food. You can choose how spicy you want your meal. Excellent table settings and service. Definitely worth trying.

Went to give them a try. Ordered 3 curries and each one was fantastic. Although the vindaloo meat was a little tough, the taste made up for it. Only downside was that it was quite pricey. Réservez une table maintenant
