The food at this restaurant is always good. I have been coming here for 30 years. However, the blonde teenage boy who has been working on the restaurant side for the last few years needs a change of scenery. Every time I go in, he is very difficult to interact with. Initially, I thought it was just typical teenage behavior, but even after 5 years, he remains indifferent to everyone who comes in and quite rude. He is so unhappy with his job and interactions with customers that he even forgot to put dressing on our salad. I think I will now start going to Athenian Gardens instead.
The food is always good from spiros, but I find the service better on the produce side then the deli side. The last order I placed there I asked for a horiatiki salad and no one knew what I was talking about. I'm not sure how you can have a Greek restaurant and your people not know what that is.
I have never had a disappointing meal at this restaurant. It always hits the spot. I have been dining here since 1990, when my parents were still alive.
Love the gyros and everything about this great deli. Excellent prices an selections. This is my go to place for vegetables and specialty products.
