Wow! My husband and I decided to take a trip to Elmwood Park and stroll through the neighborhood. We usually stop at Johnny's for a beef sandwich, but we opted to try this place instead after hearing from the cashier about their long history and how fantastic their pizza supposedly is. We were informed that we would have to wait 15 minutes for a fresh slice of cheese and sausage pizza, so we patiently waited. When my husband finally got the slice, it wasn't even warm! This was our second visit to this restaurant, and the pizza is absolutely fantastic! It features a tavern-style thin crust, topped with gooey cheese and delicious toppings. We decided to share a baked rigatoni based on a recommendation from one of my clients, and it certainly lived up to the hype! It had great layers of noodles, sauce, cheese, and even more cheese. We chose the meat sauce this time, but we might try the marinara next. The portion was generous and included a small salad with an amazing creamy garlic dressing, along with a nice piece of Italian bread. i love coming here all the time and getting food with no problem but unfortunately today i was disappointed with the service. i ordered two salads for delivery and the lady on the phone told me it would be 30-1 hours which i was okay with. A whole hour went by and still nothing so i decided to call back and ask for an ETA to which the woman on the phone said “ i told you it would be a little over an hour it is on the way” when i was told 30-60 minutes. i ordered my food at 5:25pm and i got it at 6:55pm. very disappointed and my food is cold.
This is my absolute favorite restaurant!! The food is always fantastic (some of my personal favorites: Penne alla Spizzico, Traditional Thin Crust Pizza and Pizza Valentino, Baby Back Ribs. However, no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Staff is also great very friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere is casual, welcoming and family friendly. Can't wait to return and would highly recommend.

Ordered pizza, chicken fingers and fries. Pizza was worse than any store bought pizza, fries were undercooked, cold , chicken fingers. about the same as if you bought and cooked them yourself. Bro this might be the worst pizza in Chicagoland And they charge a buck to use their restroom if ur not a customer, lol the food quality does not warrant this. I threw my slice out once I hit the crust cause it was as hard as cardboard. They shouldn't charge $4 a slice rather beg people to walk in cause this place is a must skip.

We love Spizzico. We have been ordering there for over 10 years. Saw it was a 3.5 star rating- no way. Great service, good prices and good food.
