We did not receive the Montreux Riveria Pass from the staff and ended up paying more than 100 CHF for the transportation and passes. Very disappointing that the owner is so unhelpful and arrogant and did not bother to take a simple step that would make a huge difference to our travels. Would not recommend this hotel as there are many better options and value for money. The replies from the owner on this platform just goes to show how arrogant and snobbish, and the attitude is as stinky as the service. If you have asked we would have assisted you ... what a joke and stupid comment. If we knew we would of course have asked. Someone as ignorant as the owner should seriously consider switching to a different line of work other than hospitality industry. What a disgrace and textbook example of arrogant behavior..

We were there for one night and it was a perfect location. It’s a family own hotel not new but it has a charm. We arrived about an hour and a half before check in and the room was ready so they gave us access which was very nice. There were three of us and the rooms are spacious along with the restroom. Overall I would definitely stay here it’s also is a 5 minute walk from the train station.

The owners are extremely rude, primarily because one of them shouted at me from a distance when I lost something and looked around. I'd recommend manners therapy and a psychologist. The hotel itself was fine, and the view phenomenal. So if the owners become nice, I'll come back here again

Every year we come back to the Le First restaurant in the Hotel Splendid. As always, the welcome was very warm. David is a very attentive host. We will be back at the Christmas market in 2024. Thank you for everything!
