The heading is probably a bit over the top but Pub Grub should be a. tasty and b. decent serving sizes in my opinion. The Spring Hill Hotel served up small plates of very average food for $21 and $23. We had a chicken parmi with dried up ham and mediocre taste (how can a pub get that so wrong?) and chicken and mushroom pasta, small serve and again dried hunks of chicken or turkey?. won't be going back as there are plenty of other quality eateries within striking distance that we can try.
Eating at the Spring Hill Hotel is a good experience. There is a board with a few meals on which are suggestions for that night. Or you can select from a menu. I have found the meals to be well presented and good meal size. They serve steaks to seafood... a large range and good selection with the staff very pleasant and helpful with any enquiries about the area. Recommended as a good meal away from home.
Was told by colleagues that tghis is a good place for a bistro meal. On the contrary. Needs a good clean up all over. Meals are basic and overpriced as are drinks. Who are you trying to fool with boutique prices. Observed a number of activities in the kitchen that have turned me off ever eating there again.
Funky gardens. Just had a great team lunch at Hollywood Gardens at the back of the Spring Hill Hotel. Most of us had the Barra and it was nicely done. Hollywood Gardens is relaxed and leafy with funky old Hollywood décor. I can definitely recommend it! Réservez une table maintenant
Great pub food and a friendly atmosphere for a few drinks or a game of pool. It's a nice place to relax on the weekend and there is a nice garden for the smokers too, which is hard to find these days.
Great Lunchtime Pub Meals. Best value food of all the pubs in the Spring Hill Area. Its an office favourite. Would recommend the $15 steak special, Chicken Parmy $17) and the Steak Burger $10)!
Went there for a beer with a friend. Great service from the bar man, gave good advice on beers i didnt know. The bar food was also great, reasonably priced and filling!
I have never visited the Spring Hill Hotel during their busy periods, but I can say that I absolutely enjoy coming here for a leisurely Sunday afternoon. Réservez une table maintenant
