please listen to them, the collection process is a huge chaos. there is no order or ground for the pick-up process. there are two lines for collection, one for toast tab and the other for delivery services. instead of asking what the name is on the order, the two employees attack random pockets at the front and call out random names to see who claims the order. they tend to the delivery service much more than the toast tab page. as a suggestion, please take on each side twists and ask them for the name on the order. if the order is not finished, they ask them to step to the side. it's such a scandal that a wonderful pizza feels cold when I get it. there is also no parking space around, so they can not really only grab and walk. everyone in the line was frustrated and it really brings the mood. concerning the pizza itself, the ellen supreme is so delicious and tasteful. I had never had a deep pizza, so I thought the crust would be really thick, but it's actually airy and fluffy. I would come back and try their others arome, but until they fix their pickup process, I probably won't.

What's that? Do you have Detroit style pizza now in town?? and there is a vegan option?? Detroit style is my favorite (despite having lived in Chicago for a few years) so it was a pleasure to see this close to my hotel. I ordered the Samin's Vegan Pie, which is filled with a red sauce, vegan cheese, confit tomato salad and chilis. Sure, I'd like more veggies, but I'm used to eating all veggie pizzas, so that was a nice step. Her crust was absolutely doughey and chew as I like my Detroit style pizza. The tomatoes were on point and burst with flavors with every bite. The biggest advice I can offer is to order online in advance. It takes an hour to finish the pizza. Do not go there to place an order and wait outside as it will be a long time before your freshly baked pizza will be ready. Once your order is ready, you will receive a text message asking you to go forward. You'll see your name on the TV screen and that's when he's ready. Make sure that they create a 5% SF mandate Healthcare Charge so it will be a little more than you expect.

Disappointing, but not bad pizza overall. Given the crowd out front waiting for pick up orders when I arrived and the fact that it took over an hour from when I put my order in til I finally got it, I was expecting more. Be prepared to wait, don’t expect a seamless pick up process (honestly it’s a mess), and temper your expectations if you’ve eaten Detroit-style pizza actually in Detroit.

The pizzas here are AMAZING! Nice thick pizza with abundant toppings and savory cheese and sauce. The edges are nice and crispy giving it that tasty crunchy crust.The big von is my favorite square pizza, especially when paired with the crispy brussel sprouts (please don’t take away the seasonal brussel sprouts, they’re so good

I miss my favorite detroit pizza and that was such a nice surprise to find in SF! I just kept it with the vegan cheese pizza and it was delicious. They have some tempting Brussels sprouts on their menu that looked good.
