My guest and I both ordered the scotch fillet. What we each got was a lump of tough meat that was definitely NOT scotch fillet. I don't mind paying a fairly high price for a quality steak (which this wasn't), but it's a bit rich to then be charging an extra five bucks for a sauce. And I think it's pretty standard for any steakhouse to serve chips and salad with a steak - here you had a choice of EITHER chips OR salad. There are hundreds of great restaurants in Melbourne. I would recommend giving this one a miss.
This was one of the best dining experiences I've had. The service was great, the premises was clean and tidy and a great view and the food was to die for. I would eat there any day and very happily pay for it. Its not cheap but if you enjoy good food then Squires Loft is the place to go.
Caught up with friends I worked with three years ago. WE had drinks beforehand then had a 7pm booking. Great steaks, great sauces, fabulous chips (fries) and salad for the healthy pice. Great wine selection. The meat at these places is always very good. Goos table service as well.
This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. The service was very good and the staff friendly. It is a little pricey thought. I thought it a bit strange how to get any vegetables or salad, that is an extra cost on top of the meal. Overall though, it was a pleasant dining experience.

Overall fantastic restaurant, Steak was divine juicy the sauces/gravy was amazing. Service excellent. Great options for Gluten Free. Though no gluten free dessert which was disappointing. Over all great restaurant, good service and environment. I will eat here again.
The steak was cooked to perfection and the amount of sauce was needed as well as generous. The side of chips went well but the amount of aoli left a little to be desired. The wine seemed overpriced for a bottle but all in all was lovely.
Great food, great wine, great service....right price. Easy to access.....would go again. Visited 2 Squires Loft restaurants now, neither disappointed (Albert Park is also a must do). Add this to the great steak venues in Melbourne.
Great location and nice atmosphere. A few of us at the dinner were a little disappointed in the service, however the steak and wine selection made up for that. Steak cooked to absolute perfection with a great choice of sides.

It was a last minute dinner place that I have always wanted to try the stake was good and so was the service we had the ribs not bad but for a good size meal and quick friendly service it was good
My wife and I split the eye steak with prawns and it was amazingly tasteful.
