"With it’s famous stunning Shakespearean courtyard and Victorian masterpieces you can easily be fooled to being in a completely different country other than London. The distinctive luxury Taj hotel at St James Court yard between Buckingham Palace and the House of Parliament makes an obvious choice to enjoy some afternoon tea."

I like St. James’ court. a taj group hotel exudes old fashion luxury; they have a real pianist playing and there is no one of these nonsenses where sticky young people swarm around with ipads that look confused. I was a little uncertain what to expect when I invited to review the st James’ court “Jungle book culinary experience”. the hotel describes it as a “Fusion of Indian and Christmas seasons, inspired by traditional cuisine from indies, with a series of quirky dresses inspired by the most revered characters of the jungle book.” with mowglis sweet biryani and shere khans lamm rogan josh on the menu seemed like an unmissible gastronomic opportunity that likes a remarkably high percentage of london's top Indian chef seems to have come from the kitchens of the taj group, so I was looking forward to eating. the thematic table setting, which is added to the feeling of joy, there are no greedy baptisms of people as a meeting of food bloggers. papals and dives were first, coriander and tamarinde all freshly made and perfect to go our sweet juices. ramas teller came with a trio of starters-Pappu ka samosa chaat was a crispy and tasty mix of street food lovers. hati carrot and cocosnus shot was smooth and warming with a hauch of sweet. kaas Tandoori clothing had a welcome smokey bite. for the net shere khans lammrogan josh was hot, tender and aromatic – a bit like me on a good day. baloos machli Tawa-Friede (kept) was a teller with deliciously seasoned fishing. Bandar-logs daal tadka was creamy and tasty awesome – we fought over it! ramas gaumen glazing had a mild vegetal quality, which blended well with the saw of the glazed. mowglis sweetbiryani was light and fluffy, tempered by the crisp sweetness of the wobble. a selection of Indian brot came hot and steamed from the kitchen. the bandar loger desserts was presented in style-Gulab jamun cheesecake, mango kulfi and cut fresh fruit were all excellent. While we finished our fantastic jungle book festival with tea/coffee and petit-Vieren, we had a look at the tajs special edition of the jungle book, which was available exclusively on taj for £12, and celebrated the irretrievable spirit of tiger in partnership with the born free foundation and helped to awaken awareness about endangered species worldwide. the sale of books and menus will go in direction born frees tiger protection in in india, where more than half of the 3.890 wild tiger is home to the world. born free and kids@ also the Taj coloring books, adoption packs and cuddly toys are available for sale and support their efforts to keep the animal world in the wild.

honored by a golden flag we entered the charming courtyard, which followed 7 restaurants near the hotel. the huge cherub fountain in the midst meeting, it leaves a feeling of calm, surrounded by the vibrant colors of plants. for this short moment I took the time to soak in the beautiful environment when it went to the restaurant st james courtyard to enjoy the afternoon. st james court hotel takes tee seriously, even offers the experience 24-Kat gold champagne tee when they have pleasure. the royal afternoon tea consists of fingersandwichsen that they can have either a filling or a mixture. that was the favorite of my afternoon tea experience, delicious filling. recipe queen drop scene of three different types of scenes with tinted cream and jam. for other sweet tasty, a selection of minicakes. jaffa cake, victorian sponges, and the bubbly elefant flower and strawberry jelly. they were a few hits and mises in the cake, and if they haven't been sick of the sweet overload. there is a small bar with macaroons and cakes that can not be taken for any extra cost.

The afternoon is followed by a fairly traditional formula, sandwiches, scones, cakes all served with a whisper of tee. to stand out from the mass, we have seen restaurants make a Chinese afternoon tee, chocolate overload afternoon tee on the oxo tower and even a Cuban inspired afternoon tee!. the taj hotel has jumped on this bandwagon and offers a 24 karat gold afternoon tee, unfortunately this does not mean that they offer jewellery with every tee, but more that the tee is laid with decadent gold leaf.

in the other night, a few of my friends and I relived a childhood classic – the jungle book – about the most beautiful private culinary experience at the st james court. the scene was set al-fresco, on a terrace overlooking the fairytale fountain in the center of the shakespearean hofes des hotels – as the surrounding red brickworks sylvan scenes of shakespeares show plays!
