Let's start with the goods shall we? Great downtown location; nearby parking; extremely friendly staff. My boyfriend and I ordered LA's Crock of Cheese as an appetizer. Our dining mates went with chicken tenders (which I might add, looked like ready-to-eat tenders that had been microwaved). What arrived was an abomination of my tastebuds. If you had showed me a 6 year old was in the kitchen churning out orders, I wouldn't have been surprised. This excuse for a lunchable was the crock of cheese ! I'm not the person to send food back or cause a scene about my order, but this deserved it. Instead, I was shocked into silence. Im sick of going to this place because every single time I go here the service is terrible. They treat people who are young horribly. They side eye us and give us dirty looks and just make us feel very unwelcome. I’ve also tried almost everything on the menu and every time it’s just extremely underwhelming. For how expensive this place is, you would think the food would at least be edible. But unfortunately, it’s usually bland, under seasoned and burned. Don’t waste your money here. I hosted my 4 year olds birthday party here during non peak hours. The theme was Christmas. The Gate's staff made sure we had THE BEST time. We has Santa show up and the owners could not have been nicer and/or more accommodating. They even took a picture with Santa. Thank you all so much for making this party so memorable.

This pub is fantastic, but the only food options are burgers or fish and chips. Additionally, the pints served are not the full 16 ounces, so they may seem cheap but are actually smaller than expected.
Walked in for few drinks. Friendly service. A pub. With pub food and drinks. Exactly what you expect and want. Glad to see this on Main Street. We need more of these.
all decent experience. sat with a group and sitting outside. the appetizer of cheese/bascon horses was average. I have a French swirl soup that was pretty.
If you have a longing for a Guinness in an old time Irish Pub and can't make it to McSorley's go here. Food is great too!

Good pint of Guinness. Corned beef Reuben is my goto.
