Great service from host, server, other staff. Food tasty. I had two appetizers Tuna Tartare excellent and Charred Scallops also excellent. Two guests had the chowder and said it was okay but wouldn’t necessarily order it again. Two had the fish and chips also good but one said they’ll try the charred cod next time. Dressing was a little dry, could have used more butter. Another had the Caesar salad, excellent. And finally the seafood platter was really good and could serve two people if not too hungry. Pricing was reasonable incl tip 280$, 4 people with drinks, no desserts. Definitely going back again. Clean. Washrooms are roomy. Parking easy access to building.
Excellent food/Awesome service by Brent There were a group of six of us and we all ordered four to six different appettizers Drinks and meals, Our server Brent never wrote one thing down and each order was correct and in a timely manner. Thank you Brent for your wonderful service. Each and everyone of us ordered different kinds of fish and the meals were top notch and our compliments to the chefs and kitchen staff. My favorite was the Halibut and the Cods Cheeks. There was not one complaint about the whole ordeal. My only concern was that it was a bit pricey for two people two drinks, two appettizers, 2 main meals, one dessert $178. 00 tip
Our first time trying the fish exchange and we arrived as a party of 8. The service was excellent and the servers were very patient with us as a few had trouble deciding what to have. So many great options and specials. I had the shark special which was delicious and the first time eating shark as well. I would definitely order this again. A few minor things were screwed up for our orders but nothing major. It was very busy and the staff were super quick with getting everything corrected. We will definitely be back again. This place effectively sold me on a return trip to St. John's. EVERYTHING that my friends, family and I have had off their menu has been outstanding. I have only been there twice but each time there have been more appetizers and entrees ordered than guests. Yes, this place is going to leave a dent in your wallet but I will be a fantastic dinner that you will tell friends and family about. If you are a visitor to the city, I highly recommend booking a table for your last night there. You will not regret it.

Over the top, the most amazing seafood I have ever had. The lobster was sweet and succulent, they even cracked it open and harvested the meat for this old southern girl. Brussel spouts with goat cheese and bacon, sweet potato fries with aoli, and roasted root veggies for the sides rounded out everything perfectly. My mouth and belly are so happy. Excellent service, our waiter was the best. Only here for a week and I will be back! Oh, the seaweed gin is a winner too. Trust me.
This was probably the best meal I have had while here in St John's. We started with the Seafood Platter and finished with the Chef's Special Pasta. It was so good. The service was excellent our waitress was getting and paid just enough attention to us. The atmosphere was nice. We were seated on the second floor overlooking the Harbour, a nice view while eating. If you go be sure to make a reservation though or you will have a long wait to eat.
Unfortunately, I only learned about this establishment the day before my departure. It would have been great to get a table that has beautiful views overlooking the harbor, but I wasn't able to make a reservation in time. Regardless, the staff are very accommodating and ensured that they could squeeze in at the bar. The entire place is amazing! There is an upper floor and lower level that both have great views of the water.
This place is a must visit. The top notch service and the amazing food is second to none. A phenomenal experience to say the least. I highly recommend this place to everyone !! Thanks for a great experience. Wish I could post a picture of my meal..it was picture perfect also.

Visited from Toronto. Really wanted to try a fresh lobster roll straight from the source and it did not disappoint! Oysters here are also extremely fresh and delicious. The overall atmosphere and service you get from staff is top notch. I highly recommend coming here!
Nice interior. good service. But alas, the food is not for everyone. But the oysters were the freshest!
