No place makes Bagels like a true Bagel Shop in Montreal. There are so many wannabees, one of them the New York Bagel but Montreal Bagels are unique, in the dough, in the cooking, (boiling and then on palettes in the brick wood oven). Here you can go to the cafe and have a bagel, salad , soup, and then you go to the bakery counter and take home a dozen. It is impossible to carry that bag of bagels out of the store and not dig in immediately. An experience like no other!
reasonably located despite major construction practically at front door, free parking.well-established and earned reputation ; offers fresh salads and soup, acceptable prices, convenient to many low-tech industrial facilities and of course their trademark bagels.Even though bagels are not prepared in original brick ovens (due to local bylaws) the result is almost the same identical taste.
When it comes to bagels, I used to say that I swear by Fairmont. However, I have to say that the ones at this location are really good, too. Nothing beats a bagel fresh out of the oven. My family immediately grabs at least one bagel each to eat as soon as we get our dozen. It is really nice to have very good fresh bagels in the West Island.
I have been to this cafe quite a few times since it opened and was never disappointed from there smoke meat sandwich to the salmon and cream cheese. Excellent!! The chef is known to make some excellent soups also like his famous mushroom soup!! I highly recommend this great little Bagel & Cafe!! Réservez une table maintenant
So good, so warm, so delicious! We always stop here when we pass through Montreal. We pick up a dozen or two for our freezer, and always buy 2 to eat in the parking lot. My mouth's watering now just thinking about it! And best yet, I found out that they'll ship to Toronto!
We ate breakfast here. It was delicious & we are from NY. The bagels are freshly made and they offer a nice plate to eat it on. They provide a smooth spreader to apply the cream cheese. This is the best bagel place in Montreal that we tried.
Fully loaded St. Viateur bagels with whatever you want on them. The breakfast BLT is quite good and really filling. The place is like a cafe but you might want to pass on the the house coffee and see if they can make you a latte instead.
Perfect for what we were looking for with the family. Simple but tasty food with bagel sandwiches, soup and salad. Great cappuccino as well. Staff were friendly with smiles and the kids even got free t-shirts! Réservez une table maintenant
Good staff and very fresh bagels and cookies. Bagel crisps were really good. Couldn't ask for a better bagel and coffee place in Dollard.
