Talk about stumbling into something great… I went for a walk near my neighborhood one night and walked past Stacked. I’m always on the lookout for different places to eat and this looked like a good one. So I turned around and went in. As soon as you walk in the staff greets you and gets you seated, your choice, bar or table. This being my first time I ordered off the menu… but I was told that if I didn’t see anything I wanted, I could build my own burger. Another review to level playing field. Stacked STL is listed as the number 1 place in St. Louis to order a burger and our experience was good, but it wasn't top of the line. The restaurant is pretty far away from the city, tucked in a niche area. The inside was informal and decorated like most modern burger joints. The Buffalo T-Ravs reminded me of Tostino's pizza rolls. The burger was the best part as expected and as we cut through the center is oozed with juicy goodness! The toppings on The Wet Nap Burger were not a compliment to the perfectly cooked hamburger. We love Stacked STL! Our first time here was 5 years ago when our realtor brought us for food during our long house hunting hours. It was great then, and it's great now! The menu has lots of burger and other sandwich options along with appetizers and drinks. I always like building my own--I like filling out the build your own menu and then eating my creation. This time was the normal burger (medium rare), on a pretzel bun with cheddar cheese, bacon, onion dip spread, and a side of fries. It was delicious and just what I needed! We brought a friend here to experience her first real American cheeseburger. This is one of our favorite places to come when craving a good burger, so we knew it would be a hit. The fried pickles were tasty, and the 2 different sauces were great! The food came out quick and our server took great care of us. We love the location and the way that the dining rooms are spread out, which helps keep it quiet. Always a good time!
We love this place!! Hands-down one of the top burgers in the state of Missouri! We moved out of state and make it a point to get a Stacked meal every time we visit. The 60/40 burger is amazing! Always great and friendly service! Highly recommend!
Had BYO burger with goat cheese, caramelized onions, and bacon with side of fries and a Moscow mule. All was very delicious! Can’t stop thinking ab this burger, can’t wait to go back. Very funny and kind server as well.
Burgers were Meh. Created my own with pork and beef. It was dry and overcooked. Disappointed burger to say the least. The side salad was tasty.
