Well, what can I say. It's kind of a two sided sword. For one, they do their best and try to keep up to the task. For the other, especially given the price they ask for, it really does not live up to expectations. For 100 Euro a night, it is just not good enough. The room is ok, though the carpets are obviously way past their life time and cause a unpleasant air in the room. The bath room is ok, however, the shower cabin was broken and the shower head didn't fit the mounting. The so called modern flat screen TV is a tiny 22 inch screen located in the most awkward place, no chance of watching anything from the bed, neither from the desk. The fridge is obviously ancient, but it does its job. I...
I come from the opposite, but I am only one or two times in the year in the region, but about the past ostar, a friend lud me into the hotel restaurant and I must say top. the service excellent, the staff very friendly and courteous, eating indescribably good. no 5 stars but good sufficient portions of the best German Hausmanns kitchen. at the time of ddr it did not come, read normalo, there was this house reserved to the guests of the takraf works. this standard has still available, the bathroom have been modernized. but this ossistyle would be titled in paris with charme and would pay a higher price. I recommend to eat at least there and maybe order the hof kuh kaff cake.
