I love this pub. it has a brilliant dach terrace that gets the sun all day when there is something cool, there are heating to cheat them. the drinks are a bargain that they sell their own brand cider storage. there is a pool table that is perfect for social distancing. they have a strict entry system where you have to check everywhere. the staff is very friendly, it is always clean. if they live in or near ormskirk, this place must be one. feels like a hidden gem, as it doesn't get enough footfall, which is so close to it with the train station.

did not expect that eating as good as it was. limited menu perhaps, but I was not so impressed by a meal since I first visited the fat italian. casual and tasty! will come back!

delicious food and very relaxed atmosphere. extensive beverage menu and don't let it down safely. very recommended, and I will be back

Chicken Katsu curry beautiful, good selection of beers. Just get the heating sorted
