Stan's Chitch's Cafe

Grew up in the area but never ate there. They were closing and everyone was losing their minds over it so I figured wow I must've missed something my whole life. It was a big let down. It is bar pie pizza. People call it thin crust which is your typical NJ pizzeria pizza. This is not thin crust although definitely a paper thin crust but not typical pizzeria pizza. They say a large is for two which I could see but an average adult could easily eat he whole pie in one sitting that's how thin it is. While it was not horrible I definitely would not go out of my way to get it again. If you never tried it you can't as they are permanently closed. The place has tons of great reviews. Doesn't matter how much you like this place, or what good things I say about it... Today was their last day selling pizza. It was probably the best pizza you could ever have, and I'll fight people on that. To have a pizza that did not require cheese, just sausage and sauce be so good should be illegal. Life will never be the same.

End of an era, you were on my list and didn't disappoint! The coolest part about this place is the bar atmosphere on 1 side and family old school restaurant on the other.. think of Cheers if the made pizza too! Only sad i didn't go sooner.

Eating this pizza for 40 years. Never found any pizza like it elsewhere
