When it comes to KBBQ, my family is only here because my mother likes the coffee ice cream! We don't eat too often KBBQ, but if we do, it's here. There is always a waiting period during dinner. From March 2022 only the front dining room is open. Service is usually good, everyone is always nice and helpful. If they are secured, then it can be a tad slow, but it is not the server errors. You always see how they try their best with every table. The food is good. I'm not an expert on meat cuts and everything so I wouldn't be able to go into detail, but I enjoyed everything I ate and I ate everything. We've been here for years. Be friends or family. When we mention the KBBQ, Star always comes up....
Came here for all you can eat Korean BBQ. Parking lot was huge and there were plenty of parking spots. We came over late at night because they open until late. They have 2 all you can eat options. We picked brisket and bulgogi. Meat quality is decent. Bulgogi does not seem to be very fresh, but not a deal breaker. Service was fast and prompt. Servers were friendly and attentive. They also have ice-cream as dessert (strawberry and caramel). The ice-cream was pretty Icey and hard even though it was served in soft serve style. This would be a good option if you are craving Korean BBQ late at night.
I love Chinese food and have eaten at some fine Japanese diners but this Korean food was not what I expected. It was mostly unseasoned meat that we had to fry on a grill ourselves. The table was small and was difficult to get the eating utensils or glasses for each person. I hated all of the meat, the rice was okay, the dips were in small dishes and difficult to pour over the meat. I would never go back there again but I must be a minority because there were a lot of Asian people eating. There were some side dishes but everything had to be ordered while we ate.
Service and food were good. Great price for AYCE too. However I have to knock off a star because the wait for a table was so long. My party of 4 was waiting outside to be seated for 90 minutes. When they finally let us in, no other parties had left the restaurant in the preceding 15 minutes. Yet, the entire section of the restaurant they took us to was empty! I have never been to a BBQ style restaurant like this but I LOVED IT!!!! I really enjoyed myself and this is a place I recommend every go to atleast once in thier life.. It was absolutely outstanding and I can't wait to experience this again...Vegetarian options: All vegetables if you wantKid-friendliness: Staff was A One and they all were very thoughtful!!Parking: No problem at all
I've never been to a KBBQ that charges for leftovers. But their meat selection is phenomenal, fresh poultry, seafood, and meat. Super busy but they help accommodate, it sucks that they don't do reservations for parties smaller than 7 people but they force a gratuity fee of 6 people or more. I'm not against tips but let me make reservations.
My daughter wanted to get a kbbq for dinner and we decided to come to Star BBQ. We're afraid we have to wait for a long line because it's NYE. To our surprise we sit after 20 minutes. Our meat order came quite fast and we are ready to grill. We have 10% for the payment of the bill in cash and we enjoyed the caramel ice cream afterwards.
I recommend adding your name to the waiting list before arrival. We got them and had to wait for half an hour. The bar and the bartender were incredible. His name is Paul. Cool guy, he was talking. We got up!! once we ate, the food was delicious. Fast service, the waiters were super cool, easy to talk!! I recommend this place. Réservez une table maintenant
Surprisingly cheap $24 tax and tip), discounts 10% for payment of cash. Service was very good, shocking, how much meat she offered us at a time and would follow it), never had a moment where meat was not on the grill. Corn cheese is a small tin, steamed eggs are also relatively few. Meat was great!
