Star Coffee - Réservation de table

We have been eating Ethiopian food in and around Seattle for 30 years and Star Coffee is our current favorite. We go every time we are near the airport. For 5 of us we had a meat combo and two veggie combos and have three more servings leftover. The portions are nicely sized. The Injera is dark brown, nutty and sour utterly fantastic. I enjoyed a Stella on draft. It was a Saturday night, and the place was hopping with men having a great time, laughing and talking. It was loud, but being amidst people really enjoying themselves was uplifting.

We got introduced by some friends and really enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. It is clearly a place with a lot of love and community, and you can feel it when you go in. Don't be in a rush, this is the type of place you want to go into and have a few beers with some good company over some great food. Absolutely plan to visit again!

Good Ethiopian food, typical huge portion sizes. I would have never known they serve food if my friends had not insisted on taking us here. Be aware it shares dining space with the bar. The night we were there was certainly communal and joy filled but LOUD. I could barely hear people across the table from me. Good vibe and very friendly service.

I took my girlfriend to try Ethiopian food for the first time, and we had a great experience. The atmosphere was lively and a bit noisy because of the bar at the front, but it didn't bother us at all. We ordered a meat and vegetable combo, and the portions were excellent. Fantastic vegan options! Genuine, friendly, fantastic food, great prices. Really enjoyed my huge meal here, absolutely delicious and the staff were very attentive to all my questions and allergies. Thank you!

The food is good but they are not cooking the dorowot longer like they used to you. An taste the birbir pepper that is. They have to make sure the cooking is done for along time to bring up that taste.

The food was absolutely delicious, although the scent in the restaurant was quite overpowering. The staff was very friendly, but the noise level was a bit high overall. The drinks were excellent.
