If I could give this place zero stars, I certainly would. I visited this Starbucks for the first time and ordered a diluted pink drink. The employee with long red braids and glasses responded to the cashier with a condescending, "What does she want, just with water?" clearly showing a bad attitude. This drink was meant for my mom, who is diabetic and needs to avoid overly sweet drinks. To make matters worse, the staff was quietly gossiping about their personal lives, which felt very unprofessional. The environment was also quite messy. The only bright spot during my visit was the cashier who assisted me; she genuinely tried to fulfill my request.

I came across two articles stating that you don't need to be a member to take advantage of the 50% off promotion on Tuesdays. However, when I visited the Hewlett location on Peninsula Blvd., the cashier informed me that I needed to be a registered member beforehand. She clarified that signing up on the spot wouldn't qualify me for the promotion that day, and I would have to pay the full price. This directly conflicts with what the promotion indicated.

This is my local Starbucks and it’s pretty decent overall. However, I think they should speak louder when calling out drinks. Aside from these two issues, the experience is okay.
I read two articles stating that you don't need to be an existing member to receive 50% off on Tuesdays at Starbucks. However, the cashier at the Hewlett location on Peninsula Blvd. informed me that I had to be previously signed up. She also mentioned that signing up at that moment wouldn’t work, and I would be charged full price. This contradicts the promotion and was disappointing when ordering from their menu.
I always receive excellent service at Starbucks. James, the manager, has been with the company for many years and excels at training his team. The coffee and food from the menu are consistently served promptly, although during busy periods the more efficient staff can sometimes feel a bit overwhelmed. Overall, Starbucks is a fantastic place to enjoy a meal.
The restaurant is spotless and features a charming layout that fosters a warm neighborhood atmosphere, perfect for easy conversation. The service is quick, and we barely had to wait. However, I recommend ordering ahead of time. I will certainly be returning!

This is the most disappointing Starbucks in New York. Even if you order 30 to 40 minutes ahead of time using the app in the morning, you may still find yourself waiting for your order. It's an incredibly frustrating use of time.
