I had a pleasant experience with the friendly staff and efficient service at this location. However, I am giving it a 3-star rating due to the inconvenient location and parking situation. The restaurant is situated at the intersection of Gary Ave and Army Trail Road, near the Speedway gas station.
One major drawback is that you can only access it if you're traveling eastbound on Army Trail Road. Additionally, the parking lot is located behind the building, and the lane leading to it is shared with the drive-thru. When I visited, it was particularly busy, and there were several cars waiting in the drive-thru line. I ended up sitting in that traffic for about 5 minutes just to reach the park...
Unfortunately everytime I go here I have to go back after receiving my order because it’s always wrong. I understand mistakes happen but this is the 4th time and I order my tea the exact same way. Happened again this morning ordered 2 teas and both are wrong. I simply ask for extra lemonade and 8 honey blend squirts and it’s wrong every time. Unfortunately I have meetings at work today and can’t go back wasting more time and gas. This is the only Starbucks that gets my order wrong all the time. Please help train the team because this truly sucks! Last time I came this location was out of the ingredients for Honey Citrus Mint now to get it and it’s completely wrong. So frustrating.
I was in the area from Chicago and stopped by today around 1pm for half off drink Thursday. By far the BEST FRIENDLIEST location I’ve ever been to. An older woman wearing a red jumper took my order and she was the sweetest and so lively. Regret not telling her she made my day with her service. Another barista hands me my Strawberry Açaí and comments that she loves my name ?
The supervisor at Bloomingdale refused to honor the BOGO drink offer when their mobile app malfunctioned. She insisted on arguing with me for ten minutes, which held up the line. I received conflicting and incorrect information about the deal from multiple staff members. From now on, I’ll be visiting the Carol Stream location instead.

Amazing customer service from Leah, always so polite and even made sure that I was getting a good deal on my cups during the holidays. Everyone else is always super friendly as well, and drinks taste delicious.
My go-to seasonal drink is an almond milk sugar cookie latte, and this one was just right. The syrup was perfectly balanced, and the temperature was spot on.
