Fantastic location! I typically go for a venti Iced Americano, but this time I decided to try a trenta iced coffee. I asked for it black, with no extras, but it ended up tasting very sweet and sugary. The barista explained that it was because of their ground beans and suggested I should have requested a different type. I found that quite disappointing; I don’t think that should be the norm for iced coffee. It’s odd that I would need to specify wanting a coffee that actually tastes like coffee instead of a sweetened version.
I recommend trying the Starbucks on Kettleman Hutchins instead; they always get my orders right and have a friendly atmosphere. It was 6:41 AM when I visited, just as your shift was starting, yet the tables were dirty and the staff's attitude was unwelcoming. While quick service is appreciated, it should come with accuracy. I'd rather wait a little longer for the correct order than waste time on mistakes. I strongly urge some retraining for your staff on customer service or consider a change in management!
I truly appreciated that the restaurant provided a small table and chairs for my daughter, who is in kindergarten. The size was just right for her, and the washable top allowed her to draw without worry. However, we had difficulty finding a single clean table in the restaurant. Although the staff was friendly and had great attitudes, they appeared to be congregated and chatting rather than focusing on cleaning the tables, which definitely needed some care.
No one enjoys seeing their hot drinks get cold because the staff is extremely slow. Nobody asked if I wanted a cheap red cup; I would have declined that corporate America offering me low-quality plastic. The drink quality was disappointing as well—my husband ordered hot chocolate, which was gritty and tasted like dust. If we weren’t traveling, I would have complained and ended up waiting another 15 minutes at this very slow Starbucks.

A young man had to remake my peppermint mocha three times, which extended my wait for the drink unnecessarily. Once I got into my car for my five-hour drive home, I took a sip and discovered that the beverage was completely watered down, separated, and devoid of flavor. I'm really disappointed; it wasn't worth the $12 or the 20 minutes of my time that I can't reclaim.
I always make it a point to place my order ahead of time, as it's smart to do so about 10-15 minutes before the busy morning rush. I've also observed that the staff is very attentive. They take the time to engage with customers who are waiting for their orders, ensuring that everything is in order and checking if anyone is still waiting for something.
I arrived at 8:45 PM to place an order, but was told they were closing and not accepting any more orders, despite their sign stating they close at 9 PM. There were customers inside still enjoying their meals. One of the staff members mentioned they were preparing for a staff party. It was quite disappointing!
This location typically delivers a great experience, but on my last few afternoon visits, they were out of cold brew and some of the syrups. I haven’t faced this problem at other locations. It seems like they might need to reconsider who is in charge of managing their supplies.
