I tend to favor local diners over chain restaurants so, being extremely hungry this morning, decided to stop in at the Starlite. One big plus is that they serve breakfast from open to close. Great. Service was friendly and quick. Both breakfast and lunch menus are varied and offer plenty to choose from. Prices are reasonable. This morning I decided to try biscuits and gravy with a couple of eggs sausage patties.... The sausage gravy was different, I’m from the south and a bit picky about sausage gravy biscuits. My suggestion would be to ask to taste the gravy before placing your order. I deducted one star because the biscuit was definitely not fresh, regardless of the gravy, the biscuit was...
I can't say enough nice things about Starlight Cafe. Gus and Mina will always make you feel as welcome as can be and serve outstanding home-style meals. I've been a patron for many years and have yet to have a meal that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. It's a delightful place to eat, owned and operated by a truly wonderful, caring couple,. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. Be sure to go there; you won't be disappointed.
We absolutely adore this restaurant! Mina and Gus, the owners, are incredibly welcoming and friendly. But the highlight is definitely the amazing food. I have no idea what Gus does to the eggs, but they taste so buttery. I always order "the dynamite" for breakfast, and their split pea soup is simply out of this world!
What a delightful local eatery! We truly appreciated the cleanliness of the restaurant, the friendly waitress, and the delicious food! We ordered eggs, hash browns, and toast. Everything was served hot, reasonably priced, and exactly what we were hoping for. I highly recommend paying a visit!

My dad and I try to visit this diner at least once a week, usually for breakfast. Such friendly and fast service. I love how Mina greets us when we walk through the door and pays special attention to refilling coffee or bringing extra napkins with a smile on her face at all times.
