I specifically requested roasted rolls, but they told me that the rolls are always served cold. I was surprised they didn't seem to notice or acknowledge it. Even the bags for the lower burgers felt cold to me. When I took them out, they were indeed cold. I didn't understand why it took so long to get my order when it was served cold; it was quite disappointing.
The service is quick, and the food comes out hot. The carhops are very attentive. However, I did miss having any music playing—no old-school tunes, bebop, or classic rock. In fact, there was no music at all. When I visit a carhop, I love rolling down the windows and enjoying the music along with the weather. That's what the carhop experience is all about.

The quality of food here never fails for me. I'm a big fan of their burgers, especially the #2 and add jalapeños. Be advised the jalapeños can carry some spice. The burritos are tasty as wel. A younger employee wearing a black cap was working as a carhop tonight, and he did an incredible job! The service was outstanding, and he was such a polite young man. He was very friendly and handled 5-10 cars with great efficiency!
I've been dining at this restaurant for over 30 years, going at least once or twice a week, and I have always appreciated the freshness of their food. I've never had a negative experience, particularly at the Edinburg location.
