"We tried out this establishment after being turned away from Barroco down the street, but were glad we were. The food and atmosphere were great. The fare is Polish cuisine with a quebfc twist. It was dflivious and reasonably priced."

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The food was tasty. My wife and daughter sampled several types of pierogies to start, while I had a borscht. I had a sampler of several dishes as a prix fixe, while my wife enjoyed the beef stroganoff and my daughter had a great veal schnitzel. And we had some apple pastry for dessert.,The service was friendly and attentive. A piano player added some nice atmosphere. We ate on a Tuesday night. We called ahead for reservations. There were plenty of people there but there were a few open tables, so perhaps that wasn't necessary.

Again, I was looking for a unique place to eat while traveling in Montreal for a conference. I got lucky again by finding Stash online. There was a line out the door, but as a solo traveler that can sit at the bar, the wait wasn't long. I enjoyed the chilled beat soup with a soft boiled egg (summer only) and the pierogi - I loved the cabbage and Mushroom. The potato pancakes we good as well, but I don't love fried foods, so I only enjoyed a few. I also had a Mojitoswki ( like a Polish Mojito)

I was expecting to find plenty of European food in Montreal, but not Eastern Europe. Stash was a pleasant surprise! Everyone seemed to enjoy their dish, and I especially enjoyed the potato pancakes appetizer. The service is pretty good, considering they seem to be busy all the time. We went at 2:30 and had to wait about 10 minutes. I would recommend making a reservation.
