I had heard wonderful things about this restaurant, so I decided to check it out today. Unfortunately, when I arrived, it was unexpectedly closed. Their posted hours indicated they open at 2 PM on Saturdays, and I arrived at 2:19. I’m updating my review because I went back to STC Soul, and this time they were open. The owner greeted me warmly, and I ordered the catfish bites with hushpuppies. They were absolutely delicious! The catfish was fried to perfection and had a wonderfully flaky texture. I will definitely be returning for more in the future.
I have been a loyal customer at STC since it opened, and what I admire most is its steady consistency since my first visit, aside from a few new menu items. The food is consistently delicious—my favorites are the turkey wing dinner and the catfish/whiting dinner, along with the mac and cheese, greens, string beans, and sweet potatoes. The service is always outstanding, whether I’m ordering over the phone or dining in. Moreover, the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. You will absolutely get your money's worth and then some—GUARANTEED!!!!!!
STC serves up tasty meals with generous portions. I’ve ordered their turkey wings, fish sandwich, and shrimp with grits multiple times, and I’ve always been pleased! The customer service is outstanding—they take the time to call and confirm your requests, showing their commitment to detail. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again, maybe even later today!
I discovered STC while working in the area, and I really wish there were more projects nearby so I could visit again! The Shrimp Po Boy was amazing, and I highly recommend trying the crab bomb fries! I'm confident that any item on the menu would be great. The owners are also very friendly and welcoming! Overall, I rate it a perfect 10/10.

During this visit, I tried the bomb fries, which came topped with crab, shrimp, and STC sauce. The fries were cooked perfectly—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This dish could easily serve two people. On my first visit, I had the crab bomb on a baked potato, but I enjoyed the fries even more.
Great location! I was in the area and searched for soul food, which led me to STC. I tried the fried fish that day and was hooked! A few weeks later, I returned for round two and ordered the turkey wings with yams and greens. Guess what... I'm going back for round three, which says a lot!
I recently enjoyed the braised turkey wing dinner at Chile, and it was absolutely fantastic! These are, without a doubt, the best turkey wings I've ever had! I also loved the owner's welcoming personality and vibrant energy. I'll definitely be returning!
This was my second visit, and it was just as delightful as the first! The fried shrimp were cooked to perfection and had the ideal amount of breading, which I truly enjoyed.
