Steak & Kartoffelhaus Kampe

7 of us turned up off spec on a bust Friday evening, but they managed to accommodate us. Very pleasant and efficient service where we spoke "bichen Deutsch" whilst they did their best with English.Most of us selected the ribs - either "American" BBQ sauce with fries or "provencal" with a herb crusted and baked potato. The servicing was huge (see picture) and was great value for €13. Half way through the meal, we had airport pick ups, so two more were added to the table with no fuss from the staff. We were the last out, but they were still very pleasant and earned the large tip we left.Would definitely consider returning for another dinner should we come back to Hannover.

Das Fleisch (Rinderfilet und Rumpsteak) war leider sehr wässerig im Geschmack. Das Carpaccio wurde aufgetaut, aber zu lange, so dass ich für 12€ eine vergeigte, teilweise warme Vorspeise genießen durfte. Zumal es optisch aussah wie das Tiefkühlprodukt vom Blockhouse, welches man im Supermarkt bekommt. Tut mir leid, dass die Bewertung so hart ausfällt, aber für das Geld erwarte ich mehr. Würde empfehlen hier zum Rippchen-/ oder Schnitzelessen hinzugehen, aber nicht für ein Steak oder gar Carpaccio (dafür lieber zu Edeka und vorsichtig auftauen).

As so far everything is perfect, pleasant, friendly, relaxed atmosphere, perfectly grilled steak at fair price, the bread with three sauces as always delicious and a beautiful attention. If you want to find something: The pommes could still be self-made or like to use thicker according to my taste, but the tastes are also different. We like to come back.

The food was as always Oberlecker. Quality top, service very good. What does not work so well is online booking. The booking was not transferred, no one knew about the booking, which made the staff sweat because the restaurant was full. This kept the cosiness on the track. You would have the feeling: please faster we need the tables. Réservez une table maintenant

Essen ist immer ein lecker und die Portionen sind ausreichend groß. Bin immer wieder zu Gast. Besonders zu empfehlen ist Montags des Rippchen Tag. Man sollte doch immer vorraus einen Platz reservieren.Waren zuletzt auch geschäftlich abends dort essen mit 5 Personen und alle waren begeistert. Ganz klare Empfehlung.

From the minute we walked in, we were greeted warmly and an English menu was no problem. Service was prompt all of the way through and they even seemed to care if we were enjoying our food or not. Food was very tasty and portion sizes were good.

Gutes Essen, flinke und aufmerksame Bedienung.Auch beim Mittagstisch wird auf Sonderwünsche Rücksicht genommen.Kein Aufwärmfrass, sondern selbstgekocht.Allerdings leicht teurer, als der Durchschnitt.

They coped very well with a group of 7 of us turning up and then us adding more people via a couple of airport runs! They fed me well too, first time I've given food away in ages! Réservez une table maintenant

Die Bedienung war zuvorkommend und trotz vollem Haus nicht gestresst. Das Essen war lecker.Reservierungen sind zu empfehlen.Ich komme wieder!
